Teil 1 Die Anklage: Nürnberg - Justizpalast im November 1945, der Internationale Militärgerichtshof beginnt zu tagen. Angeklagt sind 22 Deutsche, von Göring bis Fritzsche, Politiker, Beamte, Militärs der Dritten reiches sowie 7 Organisationen. Die 4 Chefankläger sind: Robert H. Jackson für die USA, Roman A. Rudenko für die UDSSR, Sir Hartley Shawcross für Großbritanien und Francois de Menthon für Frankreich. 8 Richter unter dem Vorsitz von Lord - Richter Lawrence. 21 Verteidiger und 50 Hilfsverteidiger, 29 Zeugen werden gehört, als Kronzeugen der Anklage u.a. Generalmajor Erwin Lahousen und Generalfeldmarschall Friedrich Paulus. Ca. 600 Journalisten und Kameracrews sind vor Ort. Die Anklageschrift umfasst 85 Schreibmaschinenseiten, 2100 Beweise für Verbrechen werden durch Dokumente und Filmaufnahmen belegt. Der Prozess umfasst 218 Verhandlungstage, nach 76 Sitzungstagen schließt die Anklage am 07. März ihr Beweisverfahren ab.
Teil 2 Die Verteidigung: Kreuzverhör von Verteidigern, Anklägern und Richtern. Alle 21 Angeklagten mit Ausnahme von Heß und Frick im Zeugenstand (Originalton): dazu die Porträts aller 21 Angeklagten mit historischen Rückblicken.

Part 1 The indictment: Nuremberg - Palace of Justice in November 1945, the International Military Tribunal begins to meet. Accused are 22 Germans, from Göring to Fritzsche, politicians, civil servants, military officers of the Third Reich and 7 organizations. The 4 chief prosecutors are: Robert H. Jackson for the USA, Roman A. Rudenko for the USSR, Sir Hartley Shawcross for Great Britain and Francois de Menthon for France. 8 Judges presided over by Lord - Judge Lawrence. 21 defense attorneys and 50 deputy defense attorneys, 29 witnesses are heard, as key witnesses for the prosecution, among others, Major General Erwin Lahousen and Field Marshal Friedrich Paulus. About 600 journalists and camera crews are on site. The indictment comprises 85 typewritten pages, 2100 proofs of crimes are substantiated by documents and film footage. The trial comprises 218 days of hearings, after 76 days of hearings, the prosecution concludes its evidentiary proceedings on March 7.
