Fiona (Fiona Gordon) und Dom (Dominique Abel) sind unsterblich ineinander verliebt. Ihre größte Leidenschaft ist es, Rumba zu tanzen. Das Haus voller Trophäen und den Blick voller Liebe erwarten sie nichts sehnlicher, als nach getaner Arbeit in Kleid und Anzug zu schlüpfen und dem sinnlichen Rhythmus zu verfallen. Doch auf dem Heimweg von einer Tanzveranstaltung stellt sich ihnen das Schicksal in Person eines tollpatschigen Selbstmörders in den Weg. Um ihn vor dem Freitod zu bewahren, fahren sie mit dem Auto gegen eine Wand. Und ihr Leben ist nicht mehr wie es vorher war. Fiona wacht in einem Ganzkörpergips auf, und Doms Gedächtnis leidet fortan unter Systemausfall. Als sich Dom nicht mehr an den Heimweg erinnern kann und stattdessen in einer Imbissbude mit Meerblick landet, begibt sich Fiona auf eine abenteuerliche Suche nach ihm. Fiona (Fiona Gordon) and Dom (Dominique Abel) are madly in love with each other. Her greatest passion is to dance rumba. The house full of trophies and the look full of love await them nothing more eagerly than to slip into a dress and suit after work and fall for the sensual rhythm. But on the way home from a dance event, fate stands in their way in the person of a clumsy suicide. To save him from suicide, they drive their car into a wall.
