The 'The Future is Wild' series takes you on a journey into a distant future - into a world without humans, a world that is fundamentally different from the one we know it. What could it look like, our world in the future? What life forms will emerge? Which creatures will populate the Earth? The answers to these and other questions are answered in the lavishly produced, three-part English TV science series 'The Future is Wild'. For the first time, a creative team of writers around producer and initiator John Adams, in close cooperation with leading paleontologists, geologists, climatologists, zoologists and botanists, succeeded in creating a unique world as it could look in 5 million, 100 million and 200 million years. The scientists' projections include more than 40 creatures and 12 different habitats per time period. Using the latest computer-generated animation technology, the spectacular images and creatures were brought to life. For more than five years, the scientists worked on the research and development of the animals, which are based on natural biological rules and the theory of evolution.
