Hans (Marc Hosemann) nennt seine Freundin Laura (Laura Tonke) 'Heinz', das sagt eigentlich schon alles über ihre Beziehung. Sie sind ein ganz normales Paar, dessen Liebe in die Jahre gekommen ist, genaugenommen ins achte. Hans arbeitet im Copyshop und Heinz, eigentlich Schauspielerin, ist zur Synchronstimme einer Zeichentrickampel verkommen. Die Abende verbringen sie in trauter Zweisamkeit Chips essend und Video spielend in Jogginghose auf dem Sofa. Kurz gesagt: Ihrer Beziehung ist das gewisse Etwas abhandengekommen. Das fällt ihnen allerdings erst auf, als sie an ihrem Jahrestag ins Kino gehen, ein Liebesfilm steht auf dem Programm. Nur die romantische Stimmung von der Leinwand will nicht so recht auf die beiden überspringen. Als Hans dem Ex-Freund von Heinz auch noch bereitwillig ihre Nummer gibt, statt eine Eifersuchtsszene zu machen, schrillen bei Heinz alle Alarmglocken. Das kann keine echte Liebe sein! Pragmatisch wie die beiden sind, erstellen sie eine Liste mit all den Sachen, die zu einer filmreifen Liebe gehören: Romantik, Sehnsucht, Leidenschaft, Eifersucht und Drama - die großen Gefühle eben. Hochmotiviert beginnen Hans und Heinz, diese Liste abzuarbeiten und stellen fest: Im wahren Leben ist nichts wie im Film...
'Zwei im falschen Film' ist ein intelligentes Liebesdrama, die den Beziehungsalltag mit all seinen Tücken auf charmante, aber auch unverblümte Art beleuchtet. Raffiniert, temporeich, witzig und zugleich sensibel erzählt Drehbuchautorin und Regisseurin Laura Lackmann (siehe 'Mängelexemplar') die Geschichte eines Paares auf der Suche nach der großen Liebe. Friede Clausz ('24 Wochen') ist für die Bildgestaltung verantwortlich. Als Liebespaar, dem im Alltag die Romantik abhandengekommen ist, sind Laura Tonke ('Hedi Schneider steckt fest') und Marc Hosemann ('Oh Boy') zu sehen. David Bredin ('Das kalte Herz') ist Hans' bester Freund und Kollege Florian, Christine Schorn ('Das Leben ist nichts für Feiglinge') und Rolf Becker ('Senor Kaplan') spielen Hans' Eltern, Arnd Klawitter ('Der Nachtmahr') ist in einer skurrilen Nebenrolle zu bewundern. Weltpremiere feierte 'Zwei im falschen Film' auf dem Filmfest München und war in der Vorauswahl zum Deutschen Filmpreis 2018. Hans (Marc Hosemann) calls his girlfriend Laura (Laura Tonke) 'Heinz', which actually says everything about their relationship. They are a completely normal couple whose love is getting on in years, in fact into the eighth. Hans works in a copy shop and Heinz, actually an actress, has degenerated into the dubbing voice of a cartoon traffic light. They spend the evenings in intimate togetherness, eating chips and playing videos in sweatpants on the sofa. In short, your relationship has lost that certain something. However, they only notice this when they go to the cinema on their anniversary, a love film is on the program. Only the romantic mood from the screen doesn't really want to jump over to the two. When Hans willingly gives Heinz's ex-boyfriend her number instead of making a jealousy scene, all alarm bells ring for Heinz. This cannot be real love! Pragmatic as the two are, they make a list of all the things that belong to a love worthy of a movie: romance, longing, passion, jealousy and drama - the big feelings. Highly motivated, Hans and Heinz begin to work through this list and realize: In real life, nothing is like in the movies...
