Um seiner Mutter Nan (Fionnula Flanagan) eine Freude zu machen, entrümpeln Colm (Pat Shortt) und seine Geschwister ihr Haus und verpassen ihm einen neuen Anstrich. Mit Erfolg! Als Nan das Ergebnis sieht, hält sich ihre Freude jedoch in Grenzen, denn auch ihre Matratze ist der Aufräumaktion zum Opfer gefallen - inklusive ihrer gesamten Ersparnisse. Die Suche beginnt und jeder in der Familie hilft mit, um die Matratze wiederzufinden. Dummerweise setzt Colm im Radio einen Finderlohn auf die 1-Million-Euro-Matratze aus und augenblicklich ist ganz Irland auf der Suche nach dem wertvollen Stück, das auf unzähligen Müllkippen gefunden werden will. Doch die Matratze scheint unauffindbar zu sein und schon bald denken alle, die Million gäbe es nur in der Einbildung einer alten Dame. Nur Nans Enkelin Emma (Kelly Thornton) glaubt der Geschichte ihrer Oma und macht sich noch einmal auf die Suche.

Only Nan's granddaughter Emma (Kelly Thornton) believes her grandmother's story and goes on a search again.
