Das 'Lehel', ein geschlossenes Biotop des Kleinbürgertums. Ein Münchner Stadtviertel, das dem Tscharli Häusler (Günther Maria Halmer) als Experimentierfeld für den Ausbruch aus Konvention und Milieu-Enge herhalten muss. Tscharli hat viel Phantasie, einen Wahnsinns-Schmäh - und den unheimlichen Stich bei Frauen. Seine Freiheit geht ihm über alles.
'Das Brettl': Tscharli überlegt gemeinsam mit Susi Hillermeier (Michaela May), wie man aus dem Wirtshaus 'St.-Anna-Eck' ein rentableres Unternehmen machen könnte und kommt auf die Idee, ein Brettl aufzuziehen. Er engagiert ein paar Musikanten und Vortragskünstler von anderen Vorstadtbühnen. Der erste Abend wird ein Erfolg. Es bleibt aber auch die einzige Brettl-Vorstellung im St.-Anna-Eck, dann stirbt Tscharlis Riesenidee an Personalmangel.
'Ein Ziel im Leben': Oma Anna Häusler (Therese Giehse) soll in eine Sozialwohnung umziehen und Tscharli hat für die freiwerdende 5-Zimmer-Altbauwohnung sofort eine geldschwere Idee: Renovieren und teuer weitervermieten. Leider hat er die Rechnung ohne seine Freunde (wollen auch mitverdienen), dem Hauswirt (will noch profitabler an Gastarbeiter vermieten) und auch seiner Oma gemacht. Der fällt das Wegziehen aus dem angestammten Viertel schwerer als gedacht.
'Maulhelden': Frauen gehören für Tscharli zu den besseren Seiten des Lebens. Beim Anbandeln ist er Weltmeister und als Autoverkäufer sind die Gelegenheiten reichlich. Als er dem fleißigen aber gehemmten Spezl Gustl Seiler (Frithjof Vierock) das kleine ABC des Kennenlernens vermitteln will, gerät er selbst in neue amouröse Abenteuer. Aber bei der besonders hübschen Karin (Monika Lundi) staunt der Tscharli. Ausgerechnet die verliebt sich in den Gustl.

The 'Lehel', a closed biotope of the petty bourgeoisie. A Munich district that has to serve as an experimental field for the Tscharli Häusler (Günther Maria Halmer) to break out of convention and milieu confinement. Tscharli has a lot of imagination, an insane joke - and the uncanny sting in women. His freedom is more important to him than anything else.
'Das Brettl': Tscharli thinks together with Susi Hillermeier (Michaela May) about how to turn the inn 'St.-Anna-Eck' into a more profitable company and comes up with the idea of setting up a Brettl. He hires a few musicians and performance artists from other suburban stages. The first evening is a success. But it also remains the only Brettl performance in the St.-Anna-Eck, then Tscharli's huge idea dies due to a lack of personnel.
'A goal in life': Grandma Anna Häusler (Therese Giehse) is to move into social housing and Tscharli immediately has a money-heavy idea for the 5-room apartment in an old building that becomes vacant: renovate and rent it out at a high price. Unfortunately, he didn't count on his friends (who also want to earn money), the landlord (who wants to rent even more profitably to guest workers) and also his grandmother. She finds it more difficult to move away from the ancestral quarter than she thought.
'Maulhelden': For Tscharli, women are one of the better sides of life. He is world champion when it comes to hooking up and as a car salesman, the opportunities are plentiful. When he wants to teach the hard-working but inhibited Spezl Gustl Seiler (Frithjof Vierock) the little ABC of getting to know each other, he himself gets into new amorous adventures. But with the particularly pretty Karin (Monika Lundi), Tscharli is amazed. Of all people, she falls in love with Gustl.
