Durch das schlammige Dickicht des Dschungels, unterwegs auf der gefährlichsten Straße der Welt, der 'El Camino de la Muerte', mit Viagra auf über 5.200 Meter Höhe, schließlich durch die Atacama-Wüste, den trockensten Ort der Welt - das hört sich nicht nur abenteuerlich an! Sehr fraglich, wie Tampons, Vaseline und Kondome den drei Auto-Narren dabei helfen könnten, diese mörderische Strecke zu schaffen. Doch auf so einer Reise helfen unkonventionelle Lösungen und Improvisationsbereitschaft weiter als eine TÜV-Plakette. Antriebswellen, Getriebe, Fahrwerk - kein Defekt, der nicht aus Bordmitteln wieder repariert werden könnte - theoretisch. Die Fahrzeuge wurden schon im Vorfeld unter Einhaltung des vorgegebenen Minimal-Budgets bei bolivianischen Gebrauchtwagenhändlern geordert - im Internet. So starten ein alter Range Rover, ein klappriger Toyota Land Cruiser, ein kleiner Suzuki Jimny und drei Moderatoren in ihr Abenteuer der Superlative - auch was Probleme angeht.

An old Range Rover, a rickety Toyota Land Cruiser, a small Suzuki Jimny and three presenters start their adventure of superlatives - also in terms of problems.
