M*o C*e

Involved in a murder case that is not his fault, the English journalist John Bradley (Ivan Rassimov) flees into the northern Thai jungle. When his companion is killed and he himself is captured by a native tribe, he learns first-hand that the jungle also holds dangers. Because of his blond hair and diving suit, the natives think he is a fishman. The forced sojourn with the primitive savages becomes a single chain of torments and cruelties which he himself must suffer or witness. During an escape attempt, he kills a tribal member and takes his place after an initiation ritual. Bradley then enters into a relationship with the beautiful chief's daughter Maraya (Me Me Lai) and impregnates her. Shortly afterwards, the village is attacked by a cannibal tribe and a bestial fight for life and death ensues...

'Mondo Cannibale' (1972), the original by cult director Umberto Lenzi ('Eaten Alive'), an inferno of cruel cannibalism and sexual rites.
