'Das Geheimnis der chinesischen Nelke' (1964), nach einem Roman von Krimi-Spezialist Louis Weinert-Wilton, der schon die Vorlage für 'Das Geheimnis der schwarzen Witwe' lieferte. Regisseur Rudolf Zehetgruber ('Kommissar X', 'Ein Käfer geht aufs Ganze') drehte einen spannenden Agentenkrimi in der Tradition der beliebten Edgar-Wallace-Filmreihe. Dabei konnte er neben Brad Harris ('Kommissar X') und Olga Schoberová populäre Schauspielergrößen wie Horst Frank als Lieutenant Legget, Dietmar Schönherr als Dr. Cecil Wilkens und Klaus Kinski als Speranzo besetzen.

The development of a spectacular fuel formula calls an oil company into action and costs Professor Bexter, the inventor, his life. 'The Secret of the Chinese Carnation' (1964), based on a novel by crime specialist Louis Weinert-Wilton, who already provided the basis for 'The Secret of the Black Widow'. Director Rudolf Zehetgruber ('Inspector X', 'A Beetle Goes All Out') shot an exciting spy thriller in the tradition of the popular Edgar Wallace film series. In addition to Brad Harris ('Inspector X') and Olga Schoberová, he was able to cast popular acting greats such as Horst Frank as Lieutenant Legget, Dietmar Schönherr as Dr. Cecil Wilkens and Klaus Kinski as Speranzo.
