Die aufstrebende Schauspielerin Candy Hope (Candice Rialson) kommt in die Großstadt, wo sie gleich auf Talent-Scout Walter Paisley (Dick Miller) trifft. Der bringt sie bei den Miracle Studios ("If it's a good movie - it's a bad miracle") unter, wo man solche Oscar-verdächtigen Werke wie 'Bad Girl in Boys Town' und 'Atomic War Birds' abliefert und wo Regisseur Paul Bartel schon mal zu Hauptdarsteller Godzilla sagt: "In dieser Szene ist deine Absicht, so viele Leute wie möglich zu zertrampeln". Und noch während Candy versucht, bei ihren Blockbuster-Action-Filmen den umherfliegenden Autotrümmern auszuweichen, geht ein Killer in den Miracle Studios um. Und schon müssen einige der Starlets nicht nur im Film, sondern auch im realen Leben ins Gras beißen. Doch wer tut so etwas? Und könnte Candy das nächste Opfer sein?

Aspiring actress Candy Hope (Candice Rialson) comes to the big city, where she immediately meets talent scout Walter Paisley (Dick Miller). He puts them at Miracle Studios ("If it's a good movie - it's a bad miracle"), where they deliver such Oscar-worthy works as 'Bad Girl in Boys Town' and 'Atomic War Birds' and where director Paul Bartel says to lead actor Godzilla: "In this scene, your intention is to trample as many people as possible". And while Candy is still trying to avoid the flying car debris in her blockbuster action films, a killer is on the loose at Miracle Studios. And already some of the starlets have to bite the dust not only in the film, but also in real life. But who does such a thing? And could Candy be the next victim?
