Sie waren die besten Freunde, als die lebenshungrige Regisseurin Maria (Bibiana Beglau), die Jungschauspielerin Laura (Gina Henkel) und der DJ Jan (Alexander Fehling) das Berliner Künstler- und Nachtleben aufgemischt haben. Jetzt treffen sich die drei nach Jahren der Funkstille auf einem einsamen Hof im Schwarzwald wieder, auf den sich Laura und Jan für ihren Traum vom Landleben von ihren stagnierten Karrieren zurückgezogen haben. Hier lebt auch Kathi, Marias Schwester. Mit Marias Ankunft brechen sorgsam verdrängte Konflikte auf. Denn Jan ist Marias Ex Freund, ihre große Liebe. Vor zehn Jahren hat er Maria mit Laura betrogen, woraufhin die beiden ein Paar wurden. Das Wiedersehen und Kathis Schicksal lassen den Sturm, der durch die Leben der drei Frauen tobt, zur existentiellen Bedrohung heranwachsen. 'Wann kommst du meine Wunden küssen' (2022) ist ein tragisch-komischer Film über geplatzte Lebensträume, über schmerzvolle Liebe, Einsamkeit und versteckte Sehnsüchte, über Techno, Kunst, Existenzängste und das Älterwerden - und nicht zuletzt über die heilende Kraft tiefer Freundschaft. Duie Regisseurin Hanna Doose konnte für ihren neuen Film ein großartiges Schauspielensemble gewinnen, allen voran Bibiana Beglau (aus 'Die Stille nach dem Schuss' und 'Bis wir tot sind oder frei') neben Alexander Fehling ('Goethe!', 'Gut gegen Nordwind'), und ihr gelingt hier ein Film mit emotionaler Wucht. 'Wann kommst du meine Wunden küssen' feierte Weltpremiere auf dem 30. Filmfest München und wurde dort gegen hochkarätige Konkurrenz aus aller Welt sogar mit dem Publikumspreis ausgezeichnet.

'When Will You Kiss My Wounds' (2022) is a tragic-comic film about shattered life dreams, about painful love, loneliness and hidden longings, about techno, art, existential fears and getting older - and last but not least, about the healing power of deep friendship. Director Hanna Doose was able to win over a great ensemble of actors for her new film, above all Bibiana Beglau (from 'The Silence after the Shot' and 'Until We Are Dead or Free') alongside Alexander Fehling ('Goethe!', 'Gut gegen Nordwind'), and she succeeds in making a film with emotional force. 'When Will You Kiss My Wounds' celebrated its world premiere at the 30th Munich Film Festival and was even awarded the Audience Award against top-class competition from all over the world.
