Skadooosh! Das Warten hat ein Ende: Im Filmjahr 2024 kehrt Po (deutsch gesprochen von Hape Kerkeling), der ungewöhnlichste Kung-Fu-Meister der Welt, endlich zurück. In 'Kung Fu Panda 4' erlebt der Drachenkrieger mit dem gesegneten Appetit sein bisher größtes Abenteuer. Als spiritueller Führer des Tals des Friedens bekommt er es mit neuen und alten Widersachern zu tun. Po als spiritueller Führer? Das kann nur eine Reihe von Problemen nach sich ziehen. Denn erstens weiß Po ungefähr so viel über spirituelle Führung wie über Low-Carb-Diäten, und zweitens muss er rasch einen neuen Drachenkrieger finden und ausbilden, bevor er seine wichtige neue Position einnehmen kann. Zu allem Überfluss ist vor Kurzem eine mächtige Super-Schurkin auf der Bildfläche erschienen. Das Chamäleon (mit der Stimme von Martina Treger) ist in der Lage, sich im Handumdrehen in jede beliebige Kreatur zu verwandeln, ganz gleich, ob groß oder klein. Po kann etwas Unterstützung also gut gebrauchen. Er findet sie - mehr oder weniger - in Form der im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes ausgefuchsten Diebin Zhen (Maria Hönig). Die clevere Steppenfüchsin geht Po zwar ganz schön auf die Nerven, doch ihre Fähigkeiten erweisen sich als äußerst wertvoll. Um das Tal des Friedens vor den Klauen des Chamäleons zu beschützen, bleibt dem ungleichen Duo nichts anderes übrig, als sich zusammenzuraufen. Und dabei merkt Po rasch, dass man wahre Helden mitunter an ganz unerwarteten Orten findet...
Panda Po (im Original gesprochen von Jack Black) kommt noch einmal auf die große Leinwand und anschließend ins Heimkino zurück! In seinem vierten Kino-Filmabenteuer 'Kung Fu Panda 4' (2024) zusammen mit Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) und den 'Furiosen Fünf' beim deutschen Kinostart am 14. März 2024. Hape Kerkeling leiht Po hier erneut seine Stimme. Als Comedian, Moderator, Schauspieler, Sänger, Kabarettist und Autor des Bestsellers 'Ich bin dann mal weg' ist Kerkeling eines der beliebtesten Gesichter der deutschen Entertainmentbranche. Der vielseitige Künstler synchronisierte Po bereits in den ersten drei Teilen der erfolgreichen Filmreihe. Regie führte diesmal Mike Mitchell (siehe auch 'Trolls' und 'Shrek 4 - Für immer Shrek'), der sein Talent für turbulente Animationsabenteuer bereits vielfach unter Beweis gestellt hat. Produziert wurde der Film von Rebecca Huntley ('Die Gangster Gang'). Stephanie Stine ('She-Ra und die Rebellen-Prinzessinnen') unterstützte Mitchell als Co-Regisseurin. 'Kung Fu Panda', der Oscar-nominierte erste Teil der erfolgreichen Filmreihe, entwickelte sich 2008 zum umsatzstärksten Animationsfilm von 'DreamWorks Animation'. Der Film legte den Grundstein für ein Franchise, das bis heute weltweit mehr als 1,8 Milliarden US-Dollar an den Kinokassen eingespielt hat.

In 'Kung Fu Panda 4', the dragon warrior with the blessed appetite experiences his greatest adventure yet. As the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace, he has to deal with new and old adversaries. Po as a spiritual guide? This can only lead to a series of problems. Firstly, Po knows about as much about spiritual guidance as he does about low-carb diets, and secondly, he has to quickly find and train a new dragon warrior before he can take up his important new position. To make matters worse, a powerful super-villain has recently appeared on the scene. The chameleon (voiced by Martina Treger) is able to transform into any creature in the blink of an eye, big or small. So buttocks can use some support. He finds her - more or less - in the form of the thief Zhen (Maria Hönig), who is cunning in the truest sense of the word. The clever steppe vixen gets on Po's nerves, but her skills prove to be extremely valuable. In order to protect the Valley of Peace from the clutches of the chameleon, the unlikely duo has no choice but to pull themselves together. And Po quickly realizes that true heroes can sometimes be found in completely unexpected places...

As a comedian, presenter, actor, singer, cabaret artist and author of the bestseller 'Ich bin dann mal weg', Kerkeling is one of the most popular faces in the German entertainment industry. The versatile artist already dubbed Po in the first three parts of the successful film series. This time it was directed by Mike Mitchell (see also 'Trolls' and 'Shrek 4 - Shrek Forever'), who has already proven his talent for turbulent animated adventures many times. The film was produced by Rebecca Huntley ('The Gangster Gang'). Stephanie Stine ('She-Ra and the Rebel Princesses') supported Mitchell as co-director. 'Kung Fu Panda', the Oscar-nominated first part of the successful film series, became DreamWorks Animation's highest-grossing animated film in 2008. The film laid the foundation for a franchise that has grossed more than $1.8 billion at the box office worldwide to date.
