Armie Hammer plays Sanders, a 21st-century vigilante who decides to take public justice into his own hands. He hunts down criminals and corrupt officials who, in his opinion, are not held accountable by the government. The more vigilante actions he commits actions, the more famous he becomes - which on the one hand earns him public support as a hero of the oppressed, but on the other hand also draws the attention of an Interpol chief Henry (Costas Mandylor), who sees him as a danger to society...

'Citizen Vigilante' (2026) is described as a modern reimagining of 'Death Wish' and gives Hammer the opportunity to show off his action potential, similar to what he has already done in films such as 'Free Fire' or Guy Ritchie's 'Codename U.N.C.L.E.' Uwe Boll wrote the screenplay and directed this thriller, which was released in US cinemas on June 19, 2026.
