In 10 beeindruckenden, experimentellen Kurzfilmen versucht der französische Videokünstler Louis Dupont, das Geheimnis der magischen Ausstrahlung seiner jungen männlichen Models zu ergründen. Weder voyeuristisch noch bewundernd, sondern direkt, nah und realistisch bewegt er sich mit der Kamera durch die flirrende Hitze der französischen Küstenstadt Berck-sur-Mer und wagt eine aufregende Entdeckungsreise in die Jugend. Begleitet von pulsierenden Elektrobeats lässt er die Bilder sprechen, komponiert sie immer wieder überraschend zu einer neuen Geschichte und schafft durch seine ganz spezielle, künstlerische Ästhetik eine fast schon spürbare Nähe zu den manchmal bewusst provozierenden Selbstdarstellern.

They meet on the beach of 'Berck-sur-Mer'. Their bodies speak the language of youth, raw, powerful and authentic. But what is behind their poses, what do they hide when they stand on the promenade and present their bodies revealingly or do sports on the beach? Even though this day by the sea will come to an end, the memory of 'The Boys from Berck-sur-Mer', of their wild and exuberant partying lives, remains. In 10 impressive, experimental short films, the French video artist Louis Dupont tries to fathom the secret of the magical charisma of his young male models. Neither voyeuristic nor admiring, but direct, close and realistic, he moves with his camera through the shimmering heat of the French coastal town of Berck-sur-Mer and dares an exciting journey of discovery into his youth. Accompanied by pulsating electro beats, he lets the images speak, composes them again and again surprisingly into a new story and, through his very special, artistic aesthetic, creates an almost palpable closeness to the sometimes deliberately provocative self-promoters.
