One of these companies, 'Pixelon', rented the entire 'MGM Grand Hotel' and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada to showcase its latest Internet technology. 16 million US dollars were invested in the party and celebrations, and the line-up left nothing to be desired: show and rock greats such as Tony Bennet, Natalie Cole, KISS, Faith Hill, The Dixie Chicks, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Sugar Ray, LeAnn Rimes, Chely Wright were there and the headliner of the evening was one of the greatest rock 'n' roll bands of all time: The Who. The ultra-modern technology was supposed to enable a trillion people on the Internet to follow this gigantic concert party. But it turned out to be a huge hoax: Only the lucky spectators live on site in Vegas had witnessed this evening and will probably never forget it.
