'Baby Snakes' ist ein Film von und mit Frank Zappa und Band, Künstlern und Fans aus dem Jahr 1979. Der Anfang des Filmes zeigt hauptsächlich Bruce Bickford, einen Künstler, der Trickanimationen aus Knetfiguren anfertigt, in diesem Falle unterstützt von Zappa, der mit seiner Band, darunter Terry Bozzio (am Schlagzeug), Tommy Mars und Peter Wolf (Keyboards), Patrick O'Hearn (Bass), Ed Mann (Percussions) und Adrian Belew (Gitarre), die Hintergrundmusik für diesen bizarren Film arrangiert. Selbst Bickford weiß nicht wirklich, was dieser ausdrücken soll. Der jedoch größere Anteil von 'Baby Snakes' besteht aus einem Mitschnitt eines Konzertes in New York an Halloween, zwischenzeitlich unterbrochen von Filmsequenzen, in denen Zappa-Fans ihre Begeisterung ausdrücken, die Bandmitglieder wirre Dialoge führen, oder eine Gummipuppe bzw. eine Gasmaske Protagonisten sind - 'stuff that is not normal'.

'Baby Snakes' is a film by and with Frank Zappa and band, artists and fans from 1979. The beginning of the film mainly features Bruce Bickford, an artist who makes animation from clay figures, in this case assisted by Zappa, who arranges the background music for this bizarre film with his band, including Terry Bozzio (drums), Tommy Mars and Peter Wolf (keyboards), Patrick O'Hearn (bass), Ed Mann (percussions) and Adrian Belew (guitar). Even Bickford doesn't really know what it's supposed to express. However, the larger part of 'Baby Snakes' consists of a recording of a concert in New York on Halloween, interrupted in the meantime by film sequences in which Zappa fans express their enthusiasm, the band members have confused dialogues, or a rubber doll or a gas mask are protagonists - 'stuff that is not normal'.
