Auch Homer (Norbert Gastell) ist auf der Geschenke-Jagd, doch ohne Moos ist bekanntlich nix los. Also nimmt er einen Job als Kaufhaus-Weihnachtsmann an - und das mit allen Schikanen.
'Die Lieblings-Unglücksfamilie': Bart zündet versehentlich den Christbaum mit den Geschenken an und behauptet dreist, dass dies das Werk eines Einbrechers sei. Als die Geschichte in Springfield die Runde macht, können sich die Simpsons vor Spenden kaum retten.
'Allein ihr fehlt der Glaube': Homer und Bart jagen die Kirche von Springfield mit einer selbstgebauten Rakete in die Luft. Um den Wiederaufbau zu finanzieren, vermietet die Kirche Werbefläche. Geschockt über den Kommerz, tritt Lisa (Sabine Bohlmann) aus der Kirche aus und findet ihr Heil, dank Richard 'Charmebolzen' Gere, im Buddhismus.
'Die böse Puppe Lustikus': Aus finanziellenGründen wird Springfields Grundschule von einer Spielzeugfirma übernommen, die jedoch die Schüler für Marktforschungszwecke benutzt, um das ideale Weihnachts-Spielzeug zu entwickeln. Bart und Lisa starten eine Gegenaktion.
'Einmal als Schneekönig': denkt sich Homer und kauft sich einen Schneepflug. Mit diesem macht er fortan die Straßen als Schneeräumer unsicher. Das Geschäft brummt, bis Barney auch dick ins Schneepfluggeschäft einsteigt. Dagegen muss Homer natürlich was tun.

'It's a hard Christmas': What do you give this year? Shocked by the commercialism, Lisa (Sabine Bohlmann) leaves the church and finds her salvation in Buddhism, thanks to Richard 'Charmebolzen' Gere.
'The Evil Doll Lustikus': For financial reasons, Springfield's elementary school is taken over by a toy company, which uses the students for market research purposes to develop the ideal Christmas toy. Bart and Lisa start a counter-action.
'Once as a snow king': Homer thinks to himself and buys a snow plough. From then on, he used this to make the roads unsafe as a snow plough. Business is booming until Barney also gets into the snowplough business. Of course, Homer has to do something about that.
