Monster im Kopf

Sandra is impulsive. Sandra is in jail. Sandra is also pregnant. A cinematic tour de force with a fantastically angry main character: Heavily pregnant, Sandra (Franziska Hartmann) sits in prison and fights energetically to ensure that her child stays with her even after birth. But the social worker and the youth welfare office are skeptical whether they trust her to do it. They fear that if Sandra comes under pressure, she will fall back into old patterns and cannot control herself. Only through flashbacks cleverly woven into the narrative do we learn how it could have come to this in the first place.
