Auf dem Internationalen Filmfestival in Mar del Plata 2015 erhielt die Dokumentation den Preis 'SADAIC', eine lobende Erwähnung für die beste Musik eines Argentinischen Films in allen Wettbewerben für Luis Borda und Gerd Baumann. Er lief außerdem auf dem 'International Documentary Filmfestival' in Yamagata im internationalen Wettbewerb. Seine Deutschland-Premiere feierte 'Ein letzter Tango' auf den Internationalen Hofer Filmtagen. Der Komponist und Gitarrist Luis Borda ('12 Tangos') hat einige Klassiker der Tangomusik mit dem weltberühmten Orchester 'Sexteto Mayor' in Buenos Aires neu arrangiert und aufgenommen und so einen atemberaubenden Soundtrack für den Film geschaffen.

It was also screened in international competition at the International Documentary Film Festival in Yamagata. 'A Last Tango' celebrated its German premiere at the Hof International Film Festival. Composer and guitarist Luis Borda ('12 Tangos') has rearranged and recorded some of the classics of tango music with the world-famous orchestra 'Sexteto Mayor' in Buenos Aires, creating a stunning soundtrack for the film.
