Der fiktiven Cartoon-Band ist inzwischen ein reales Lineup gefolgt: Serien-Erfinder Brendon Small greift bei 'Dethklok' selbst in die Saiten und röhrt inzwischen nicht mehr nur im Synchronstudio ins Mikro, nach hohen Chart-Platzierungen für die ersten beiden LPs veröffentlichen 'Dethklok' im Oktober ihr drittes Album und sind auf ausgedehnten Tourneen immer wieder auch live zu erleben. Die deutschen Synchronisation braucht sich vor der Fülle amerikanischer Gastsprecher (James Hetfield von 'Metallica', Mike Patton u.v.m.) nicht zu verstecken: Mille Petrozza ('Kreator'), Schmier ('Destruction'), Doro Pesch und andere heimische Metal-Größen leihen den Trickfiguren ihre Stimmen.

The US cult series 'Metalocalypse' parodies the peculiarities of the heavy metal scene with great attention to detail and extremely black-morbid humour, so that wherever the band appears, chaos and destruction are not far away. The fictitious cartoon band has now been followed by a real lineup: Series creator Brendon Small picks up the strings himself on 'Dethklok' and no longer just roars into the microphone in the dubbing studio, after high chart positions for the first two LPs, 'Dethklok' will release their third album in October and can be experienced live again and again on extensive tours. The German dubbing does not need to hide from the abundance of American guest actors (James Hetfield from 'Metallica', Mike Patton and many more): Mille Petrozza ('Kreator'), Schmier ('Destruction'), Doro Pesch and other local metal greats lend their voices to the cartoon characters.
