Es gibt keinen Bluesstil, der so den Sound des Rock'n'Roll und Rhythm & Blues der 50er Jahre in sich vereint wie der 'Chicago Blues'. Chicago, die 'Windy City', hat einen in Form, Song und Feeling rauhen und einzigartigen Blues geschaffen. Beim 1997er Chicago-Blues-Festival sorgten Legenden wie George Blaze, Pistol Pete & Ron Hytower, Lonnie Brooks, Hubert Sumlin, Junior Wells, James Harman, Magic Slim, Mike Morgan & The Crawl, Keb'mo' und andere für einen weiteren Meilenstein in der Geschichte des Chicago-Blues. Aufgenommen wurde das ganze in 'Buddy Guy's Legend Club'. Des weiteren gibt es fünf Stage-Performances auf einer Open-Air-Bühne mit Live-Atmosphäre pur.
