Mit seinem Album 'Taxi Europa' ist Stephan Eicher im Jahr 2003 durch ganz Europa getourt. Er hat dabei Herbert Grönemeyer auf seiner Stadiontour begleitet und vor hunderttausenden von Menschen gespielt, bevor er dann die Hallen alleine füllte. 'Taxi Europa' bietet jetzt einen phantastischen Querschnitt dieser Tour, gefüllt mit Songs aus dem aktuellen Album (u.a. 'Taxi Europa', 'Mon ami' und 'On nous a donné') bis zurück zu 'Eisbär', dem Song, den sein Bruder Martin für die Band der beiden 'Grauzone' geschrieben hat. Begleitet wurde Stephan Eicher auf seiner Tour u.a. vom Italiener Max Gazzé (Bass) und dem deutschen Achim Meier (Keyboards). Aufgenommen wurde 'Taxi Europa' am 19. Oktober 2003 in Brüssel im 'Ancienne Belgique' und in den 'Labomatic Studios' in Paris von Dominique Blanc-Francard gemischt. Neben dem kompletten Konzert sind auch acht Screenings auf der DVD enthalten, die während der Songs bei den Konzerten auf der Leinwand abgespielt wurden.

Stephan Eicher toured all over Europe with his album 'Taxi Europa' in 2003. He accompanied Herbert Grönemeyer on his stadium tour and played in front of hundreds of thousands of people before filling the halls alone. 'Taxi Europa' now offers a fantastic cross-section of this tour, filled with songs from the current album (including 'Taxi Europa', 'Mon ami' and 'On nous a donné') all the way back to 'Eisbär', the song his brother Martin wrote for the band of the two 'Grauzone'. Stephan Eicher was accompanied on his tour by the Italian Max Gazzé (bass) and the German Achim Meier (keyboards), among others. 'Taxi Europa' was recorded on October 19, 2003 in Brussels at the 'Ancienne Belgique' and mixed at the 'Labomatic Studios' in Paris by Dominique Blanc-Francard. In addition to the complete concert, eight screenings are also included on the DVD, which were played on the screen during the songs at the concerts.
