With 'Nomads of the North - A Journey with the Wild Animals of Alaska' (2003), the Kammeramann and author Andreas Kieling has succeeded in depicting the survival strategies of the Arctic hikers in impressive images. To do this, he had to become a nomad himself, always on the road with his main actors, on a train through a magnificent landscape. With patience and empathy, he gained the trust of the wild animals. He was able to capture unique shots of grizzly, polar bear, moose, caribou and musk ox at very close range. The reward for these efforts is this multi-award-winning film, which depicts the life and suffering of wild animals in the vastness of the north in a unique way.
