It's a family affair. 'The Corrs' sind ein echtes Familienunternehmen. Die Geschwister Andrea (Gesang), Caroline (Schlagzeug), Sharon (Violine) und Jim (Gitarre und Keyboards) gründeten 1991 eine Band. Fünf Jahre später schafften sie bei einer gemeinsamen Tournee mit Celine Dion sowie anlässlich eines Auftritts bei den Olympischen Spielen von Atlanta den internationalen Durchbruch. 1998 zeichnete das Quartett dann zum ersten Mal eines seiner Konzerte auf Filmmaterial auf: Am 'St. Patrick's Day', dem Lieblingsfeiertag ihrer irischen Landsleute, spielten 'The Corrs' in Londons 'Royal Albert Hall' eine 85-minütige Show der Extraklasse. Vor ausverkauftem Haus musizierten sie die schönsten Lieder der ersten beiden Multiplatin-Alben 'Forgiven, Not Forgotten' und 'Talk On Corners'. In 'When He's Not Around', 'What Can I Do', 'I Never Loved You Anyway' und vielen anderen Ohrwürmern begeisterte die Folkpop-Familie das Publikum mit einem stimmungsvollen Mix aus volkstümlichen Kelten-Klängen und massenwirksamen Charts-Sounds.

It's a family affair. 'The Corrs' are a real family business. Siblings Andrea (vocals), Caroline (drums), Sharon (violin) and Jim (guitar and keyboards) formed a band in 1991. Five years later, they made their international breakthrough on a joint tour with Celine Dion and on the occasion of an appearance at the Olympic Games in Atlanta. In 1998, the quartet recorded one of its concerts on film for the first time: On 'St. Patrick's Day', the favourite holiday of their Irish compatriots, 'The Corrs' played an 85-minute show in a class of its own in London's 'Royal Albert Hall'. In front of a sold-out house, they played the most beautiful songs from the first two multiplatinum albums 'Forgiven, Not Forgotten' and 'Talk On Corners'. In 'When He's Not Around', 'What Can I Do', 'I Never Loved You Anyway' and many other catchy tunes, the folk-pop family thrilled the audience with an atmospheric mix of folksy Celtic sounds and mass-effective chart sounds.
