"Mein Leben mit meinem Mann war für mich Frühjahr, Sommer, Herbst und Winter." Dieser Satz war die erste Motivation für Ralph Kiening, sich mit Ingrids Geschichte zu beschäftigen. Und er dachte dabei an die Musik von Vivaldis 'Vier Jahreszeiten'. Daher auch die Einleitung von 'Eisentanz', einem Schweizer Musiker, der Vivaldis 'Vier Jahreszeiten' zu einer dramaturgisch-musikalisch Schnittstelle zum Leben Ingrids gestaltet hat. So unterhielt er sich mit Ingrid. Entstanden ist so eine biographische Dokumentation über das ungewöhnliche Leben einer außergewöhnlichen Frau. Einer Frau, die wir ins Herz geschlossen haben und diese Eindrücke mit diesem Film an die Zuseher weitergeben wollen. An Menschen, die offen sind für das Spiel der Gefühle besonderer Art. Sado-Masochismus begegnet jedem in besonderer Weise: dem normalen vielleicht eher abstrakt. Ingrid schenkt uns allen einen Blick in ihr Leben, der normaler nicht sein kann. Und baut uns allen so eine Brücke zwischen normal und... ja was eigentlich? Was bedeutet letztlich Sado-Masochismus genau? Diese Frage stellen wir hier. Der Film gibt Anregungen und manche Antworten. Er versteht sich als Buffet von Gedanken und Assoziationen zu diesem Themenkomplex.

"My life with my husband was spring, summer, autumn and winter for me." This sentence was the first motivation for Ralph Kiening to deal with Ingrid's story. And he was thinking of the music of Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons'. Hence the introduction by 'Eisentanz', a Swiss musician who has made Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons' a dramaturgical and musical interface to Ingrid's life. So he talked to Ingrid. The result is a biographical documentary about the unusual life of an extraordinary woman. A woman whom we have taken to our hearts and want to pass on these impressions to the viewers with this film. To people who are open to the play of feelings of a special kind. Sado-masochism encounters everyone in a special way: the normal perhaps rather abstract. Ingrid gives us all a glimpse into her life that couldn't be more normal. And builds us all a bridge between normal and... Yes, what actually? What does sado-masochism mean exactly? We ask this question here. The film provides suggestions and some answers. It sees itself as a buffet of thoughts and associations on this complex of topics.
