Der Computerspezialist Harry Vincent hat es geschafft, den Code des Zentralcomputers aller Spielcasinos in Las Vegas zu knacken. Zusammen mit seiner Freundin Kathy Heller räumt er jetzt die einarmigen Banditen in den Spielcasinos leer. Dabei werden sie von den beiden Ganoven Kurt und Al beobachtet und verfolgt. Sie überraschen Harry in seinem Appartment und wollen von ihm das Computerprogramm erpressen und das gewonnene Geld. Bei einem Zweikampf kommt Harry ums Leben. Die Polizei hat George Ryan (Bo Svenson) auf den Fall angesetzt. George hat einen alten Freund, den Schwarzen Lou (Fred Williamson), der eine kleine Hubschrauberfirma betreibt. Zusammen mit Lou verfolgt er die Spur von Harry und Kathy sowie den Gangstern Kurt und Al. Lou erweist sich als äußerst geschwätzig und redet George laufend bei den Ermittlungen dazwischen. Als sie in Las Vegas sind, können sie die Spur des toten Harry Vincent aufnehmen und geraten und geraten nach einer verwegenen Autojagd in einen Kampf mit den beiden Gangstern. Die Gangster setzten ihre Flucht mit dem Hubschrauber fort, jedoch können sie den erfahrenen Piloten Lou nicht abschütteln. Es gelingt ihnen, die Gangster zu überrumpeln und ihnen die Beute aus den Casinos abzunehmen. George beantragt bei seinem Vorgesetzten zunächst einmal einen Erholungsurlaub und begibt sich mit seinem alten Kumpel Lou nach Las Vegas, um mal ausgiebig und ohne Streß an den Slotmachines.

Computer specialist Harry Vincent has managed to crack the code of the central computer of all casinos in Las Vegas. Together with his girlfriend Kathy Heller, he now empties the one-armed bandits in the casinos. They are observed and pursued by the two crooks Kurt and Al. They surprise Harry in his apartment and want to extort the computer program and the money they have won from him. Harry is killed in a duel. The police have set George Ryan (Bo Svenson) on the case. George has an old friend, the black man Lou (Fred Williamson), who runs a small helicopter company. Together with Lou, he follows the trail of Harry and Kathy as well as the gangsters Kurt and Al. Lou proves to be extremely talkative and constantly interferes with George during the investigation. When they are in Las Vegas, they are able to pick up the trail of the dead Harry Vincent and get into a fight with the two gangsters after a daring car chase. The gangsters continued their escape by helicopter, but they can't shake off the experienced pilot Lou. They manage to take the gangsters by surprise and take the loot from the casinos. George first applies to his supervisor for a vacation and goes to Las Vegas with his old buddy Lou to play extensively and without stress on the slot machines.
