Not one of my favourites but perhaps appeals to women more. True story of Tolstoi which is quite tragic with some great acting by the leads of Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer.

What a thriller, kept us on the edge our seat all through and great seeing Kate Beckinsale. She's going to be a great actress, she's already great but just getting better and better.
A police thriller with Denzel Washington in the lead, one of the best actors around. The story line OK if you suspend belief about the way the police work!

Sorry but this didn't grab us, story too lightweight but some good acting. Rather typical Hollywood production without any depth or substance but it is following a format developed for Sex and the City, Friends etc enjoyed by a certain section of the public but I'd rather watch the news!

Great film, great acting especially Kate Beckinsale (didn't know she was English her american accent was perfect). Kept us on the edge of our seat the whole movie, very exciting! Definitely a film worth seeing.

Excellent acting by Kate Winslett and Leo di Caprio, these type of roles suit him better than the "hard man'" type. Direction and screenplay were outstanding , you really had the feeling you were back in time in the 50's. It was a strange story, sad but with wonderful text and obviously well adapted from the book. Well worth seeing.

Interesting and beautifully filmed, the story pretty horrific is fictional but well historically researched so you get the feeling of the dreadful times of the Inquisition.
Natalie Portman showed what a great actress she is and a character actress at that!
