Schon beim Titel wird klar, dass die Macher das Musikvideo nicht als Promotion-Tool sondern als Kunstwerk mit eigenem Stellenwert sehen. Da macht es durchaus Sinn, die letzten 10 Jahre in einer Playlist aufzuarbeiten und sie in einer bunten Mischung auf DVD zu packen. Bunt ist das richtige Stichwort, denn für jeden Musik- und Videogeschmack ist das richtige dabei. Den Auftakt macht Robbie Williams in seinen 'Ich zieh mich bis auf die Knochen aus' Skandalvideo 'Rock DJ', das explizit als 16er-Version gekennzeichnet ist. Wer weniger attraktive Körper sehen möchte, der skipped weiter zu Mobys 'Body Rock', in dem ganz andere Casting-Teilnehmer, wie wir sie heute kennen, sich sprichwörtlich zum Affen machen. Apropos Affen: 'Where's Your Head At' von 'Basement Jaxx' ist natürlich auch dabei. Kleine Highlights sind auch noch 'Cylob' mit 'Rewind', da es wohl bisher nie auf einer DVD oder gar im Internet zu sehen war, oder die 'Lightning Seeds' mit 'Three Lions', das einen so schön in die Zeit der Fußball-EM 1996 zurückversetzt.

Even the title makes it clear that the makers don't see the music video as a promotional tool, but as a work of art with its own status. So it makes perfect sense to work through the last 10 years in a playlist and put them in a colorful mix on DVD. Colorful is the right keyword, because there is something for every music and video taste. Robbie Williams kicks things off in his 'I strip down to the bone' scandalous video 'Rock DJ', which is explicitly marked as a 16 version. If you want to see less attractive bodies, skipped on to Moby's 'Body Rock', in which completely different casting participants, as we know them today, literally make a monkey of themselves. Speaking of monkeys: 'Where's Your Head At' from 'Basement Jaxx' is of course also included. Small highlights are also 'Cylob' with 'Rewind', as it has probably never been seen on a DVD or even on the Internet, or the 'Lightning Seeds' with 'Three Lions', which takes you back to the time of the European Football Championship in 1996.
