Alleine die ebenso brachiale wie saubere Darbietung der Musiker wäre schon ein Grund, sich 'Stage Fright' anzusehen, endgültig zur Pflichtveranstaltung für Motörmaniacs wird die DVD jedoch durch die imposante Lichtshow von Gert Hof (u.a. Rammstein) und die ausgesprochen professionelle Bildregie von Sven Offen (u.a. Grönemeyer, Die Tote Hosen), der zwar manchmal ein wenig zu hektische Schnitte setzt, ansonsten aber mit stimmungsvollen Kamerafahrten und Matrix-artigen Spezialeffekten für Sehvergnügen auf höchstem Niveau sorgt.

We are Motörhead and we play Rock'n'Roll! With this classic opening movement, the most elaborate and unconventional DVD release of the loudest trio in the world begins. The musicians' brutal and clean performance alone would be a reason to watch 'Stage Fright', but the DVD finally becomes a must-attend event for Motörmaniacs due to the impressive light show by Gert Hof (Rammstein, among others) and the decidedly professional picture direction by Sven Offen (Grönemeyer, Die Tote Hosen, among others), who sometimes makes a little too hectic cuts, but otherwise provides viewing pleasure at the highest level with atmospheric camera movements and Matrix-like special effects.
