Der Maulwurf ist mächtig enttäuscht von seinen Freunden. Hase, Igel und Maus haben alle Kirschen aufgegessen, die er für sich gepflückt hat. Dabei hat er immer seine Blaubeeren mit ihnen geteilt. Er verkleidet sich als armer, alter Mann und bittet seine drei Freunde nacheinander um eine milde Gabe. Aber sie schicken ihn mit leeren Händen weg. Als sie merken, daß es der Maulwurf ist, schämen sie sich und lassen sich etwas einfallen. Dafür bekommt der Maulwurf von einer Enten-Familie einen riesigen Freundschaftsbeweis. Er hat vier unbewachte Enteneier vor dem gierigen Fuchs gerettet. Jetzt will sich dieser für die entgangene Mahlzeit am Maulwurf rächen! Für den bitterkalten Winter entdeckt der Maulwurf für seine Freunde eine ganz besondere Wärmequelle! Als der Frosch Geburtstag hat, macht der Maulwurf aus seiner Höhle eine Konditorei - die Party kann steigen! Nur ein Wochenendausflug mit Hase und Igel wird für den Maulwurf anstrengend. Warum muß er aber auch seinen gesamten Hausrat mitnehmen?

The mole is mightily disappointed in his friends. Hare, hedgehog and mouse have eaten all the cherries he has picked for himself. He has always shared his blueberries with them. He disguises himself as a poor old man and asks his three friends one after the other for a charitable gift. But they send him away empty-handed. When they realize that it is the mole, they are ashamed and come up with something. For this, the mole gets a huge proof of friendship from a duck family. He saved four unguarded duck eggs from the greedy fox. Now he wants to take revenge on the mole for the missed meal! For the bitterly cold winter, the mole discovers a very special source of warmth for his friends! When it's the frog's birthday, the mole turns his den into a pastry shop - the party can begin! Only a weekend trip with the hare and hedgehog will be exhausting for the mole. But why does he have to take all his household goods with him?
