In der ersten Geschichte erwecken die kleine Karen und ihre Freunde mit einem alten Zauberzylinder einen Schneemann zufällig zum Leben. 'Frosty' ist der beliebteste Kerl in der Kindergruppe, denn er hat immer nur Schabernack im Sinn. Doch das Glück hält nur kurze Zeit, denn schon bald schlägt das Wetter um und es wird zu warm für den armen Frosty. Da hilft nur noch eins: Ab an den Nordpol, wo es immer knackig kalt ist. Zeitgleich beschließt der Zauberer Hinkel, dass er seinen magischen Zylinder wieder zurückhaben möchte und folgt Karen und Frosty auf ihrem langen Weg in den Norden. Doch ohne Hut kann der Schneemann nicht überleben. Zu allem Unglück erkältet sich Karen auch noch schwer. Doch es besteht kein Grund zur Sorge, denn Hilfe naht - und das von keinem Geringeren als dem Weihnachtsmann persönlich. Auch in der zweiten Geschichte wird der pummelige Schneemann durch Zufall von der Hobby-Zauberin Holly zum Leben erweckt. Bevor die beiden ihre Freundschaft wirklich genießen können, muss sich Frosty vor einem gefährlichen Mittel in Sicherheit bringen, dass jeden Schnee schmelzen lässt. Auf den Schneemann und seine neue Freundin warten wieder jede Menge Gefahren, bis der böse Chemiefabrikant Twitchell endlich bekehrt wird und alle zusammen eine schöne weiße Weihnacht feiern.

In the first story, little Karen and her friends accidentally bring a snowman to life with an old magic cylinder. 'Frosty' is the most popular guy in the children's group, because he always has only pranks on his mind. But the happiness only lasts for a short time, because soon the weather changes and it becomes too warm for poor Frosty. There's only one thing left to do: Off to the North Pole, where it's always freezing cold. At the same time, the wizard Hinkel decides that he wants his magic top hat back and follows Karen and Frosty on their long way north. But without a hat, the snowman cannot survive. To make matters worse, Karen also catches a bad cold. But there is no need to worry, because help is coming - and from none other than Santa Claus himself. In the second story, the chubby snowman is also brought to life by chance by the hobby sorceress Holly. Before the two can really enjoy their friendship, Frosty must take refuge from a dangerous agent that melts any snow. A lot of dangers await the snowman and his new girlfriend until the evil chemical manufacturer Twitchell is finally converted and everyone celebrates a nice white Christmas together.
