'Sepultura' sind ein Phänomen. Seit über 20 Jahren versorgt die brasilianische Band ihre Fans mit einer brachialen Mischung aus Metal, Hardcore, Thrash, Punk und Tribal, die intensiver und leidenschaftlicher kaum sein könnte. Was im Jahre 1984 in Belo Horizonte begann, wuchs schnell zu einem Metal-Orkan bedrohlichen Ausmaßes heran und hat nach dem Einstieg des amerikanischen Sängers Derek Green im Jahr 1998 mittlerweile ungeahnte Dimensionen angenommen. Man muss diese Truppe auf der Bühne erlebt haben, um die Faszination zu verstehen, die von der südamerikanischen Formation ausgeht. Und man kann in ihren aktuellen Songs immer auch die Zukunft des Heavy-Metals entdecken. Mit 'Live in Sao Paulo' dokumentieren 'Sepultura' ihre große Bedeutung für die internationale Metal-Szene und veröffentlichen das in ihrer Heimatstadt aufgezeichnete Konzert vom 3. April 2005.
