Über Jahre hinweg haben 'The Corrs' Fans überall auf der Welt gefordert, endlich mehr über ihre Lieblingsband zu erfahren - mit der Veröffentlichung von 'All the Way Home' erfahren sie nun alles. Als begleitendes Material zum Studioalbum 'Home' enthält 'All the Way Home' die Geschichte einer Kleinstadtfamilie aus ärmlichen Verhältnissen, die ihre musikalischen Wurzeln innerhalb der traditionellen irischen Musik hat und für ihren Plattenvertrag ganze 8.000 Meilen reisen musste. Nach vielen weiteren tausend Meilen wurden daraus die vielfach mit Platin ausgezeichneten Stars. 'The Corrs', das sind drei Schwestern und ein Bruder, die in eine musikalische Familie in der irischen Küstenstadt Dundalk hineingeboren wurden. Eine Mischung aus Zufall, Glück, Talent und harter Arbeit brachte sie ins Rampenlicht - nicht nur bei sich zu Hause, sondern in mehr als zwanzig Ländern überall auf der Welt. In 'All the Way Home' erzählen die Bandmitglieder und ihr langjähriger Manager John Hughes mit eigenen Worten die ganze Geschichte ihres Wegs zum Ruhm. Illustriert wird diese Erzählung mit vielen bisher unveröffentlichten Schnappschüssen aus dem Familienarchiv, komischem Demo-Material und Szenen hinter den Kulissen, sowie einigen Ausschnitten aus ihrer Zeit vor dem 1994 abgeschlossenen Plattenvertrag mit 'Atlantic Records' in New York. Zusätzlich gibt es Archivmaterial von Fernsehauftritten, Touraufnahmen, viele seltene Einzelbilder, Erinnerungen und natürlich jede Menge Musik, live&im Studio. Die meisten Teile des ca. 104-minütigen Films wurden persönlich vom langjährigen Videobiographen der Band, Ciaran Tanham, gedreht. Dieser über 100-minütige Film erzählt mit vielen Archivaufnahmen und aktuellen Interviews die über zehnjährige Geschichte der irischen Geschwisterformation. Aber auch das Konzert ist reich an emotionalen Höhepunkten, da just bei diesem Auftritt Drummerin Caroline aus ihrer Babypause zurückkehrte.
DVD 2 enthält einen Konzertmitschnitt aus Genf in der Schweiz 2004:

For years, 'The Corrs' fans all over the world have been demanding to finally learn more about their favourite band - with the release of 'All the Way Home', they are now finding out everything. As accompanying material to the studio album 'Home', 'All the Way Home' contains the story of a small-town family from poor backgrounds who have their musical roots within traditional Irish music and had to travel 8,000 miles for their record deal. After many more thousands of miles, they became the multi-platinum stars. 'The Corrs' are three sisters and a brother who were born into a musical family in the Irish coastal town of Dundalk. A mixture of chance, luck, talent and hard work brought her into the spotlight - not only in her home, but in more than twenty countries around the world. In 'All the Way Home', the band members and their longtime manager John Hughes tell the whole story of their path to fame in their own words. This narrative is illustrated with many previously unreleased snapshots from the family archive, strange demo material and scenes behind the scenes, as well as some excerpts from her time before the record deal with 'Atlantic Records' in New York in 1994. In addition, there is archive material from TV appearances, tour recordings, many rare individual images, memories and of course a lot of music, live & in the studio. Most parts of the approximately 104-minute film were personally shot by the band's long-time video biographer, Ciaran Tanham. The new material as well as the overarching coordination of the whole thing was created by director Rob O'Conner of Stylorouge in London

This more than 100-minute film tells the story of the Irish sibling formation over ten years with many archive footage and current interviews. But the concert is also rich in emotional highlights, as drummer Caroline returned from her maternity leave at this very performance.
