After the tragic death of his older brother Stro, a legendary 'Midnight Rider', Mouse is determined to earn the respect of the neighborhood, provide for his family and, above all, be a man. While his mother Teri (Teyonah Parris) and mentor Detective Rivers (William Catlett) work overtime so that the smart, charismatic teenager can reach his full potential, Blax (Meek Mill), the leader of the Midnight Clique, takes Mouse under his wing and unintentionally leads him down a path of violence and quick money.
