1923. A Japanese man comes to Munich and immediately falls in love with a street artist with a red hat, without suspecting the past that accompanies this woman (Kristina van Eyck). She turns to the Japanese (Toshiyuki Nagashima), for the first time she believes she has found her really great love. The foreign, the exotic attracts them. They say a lot to each other, but don't understand each other - but they can show their love to each other. Nevertheless, the relationship is doomed to failure from the beginning.
