At the age of three, the son of vaudeville artist Sammy Davis Sr. entered the stage for the first time, learned tap dancing and singing and had his first film role at the age of seven. Sammy Davis Jr. achieved worldwide fame when he stood night after night on the stage of the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas at the end of the 50s as part of the legendary 'Rat Pack' together with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin to present the successful show with cabaret dialogues and performances of their songs.
