Lange ist es her, dass man etwas von Graeme Clark, Tommy Cunningham, Neil Mitchell und Marti Pellow alias 'Wet Wet Wet' gehört hat. Es war das Jahr 1994, als die vier mit '10' ihr letztes Album fertig stellten. Am 31. Januar 2005 stellte das vor fast zwanzig Jahren in Schottland gegründete Quartett endlich sein lange erwartetes zweites Best-of-Album vor, das neben den zahlreichen Charterfolgen auch die brandneue Single 'All I Want' und weitere bisher unveröffentlichte Bonustracks enthielt. Insgesamt finden sich 20 Songs einer der einflussreichsten Popformationen der 80er und 90er Jahre auf diesem Album, wie zum Beispiel 'Love Is All Around' (aus dem Soundtrack zum Kultfilm 'Vier Hochzeiten und ein Todesfall'), 'Goodnight Girl' oder der äußerst erfolgreichen Coverversion von 'With a Little Help From My Friends'. Zeitgleich erschien auch diese DVD 'Greatest Hits and More', die neben 26 Videoclips aus der Bandhistorie exklusives Bonusmaterial wie Audiokommentare der Bandmitglieder zu ihrer Karriere und ihren Alben, eine Dokumentation über die Band, ihre Reunion 2004 und den ersten gemeinsamen Auftritt seit sieben Jahren enthält, sowie Ausschnitte von zahlreichen Liveauftritten, bisher unveröffentlichte Videoclips, ein Bandquiz und eine Photogalerie. Ein Muss für Fans und alle, die gute Popmusik zu schätzen wissen.

It's been a long time since you've heard anything from Graeme Clark, Tommy Cunningham, Neil Mitchell and Marti Pellow aka 'Wet Wet Wet'. It was the year 1994 when the four finished their last album '10'. On January 31, 2005, the quartet, founded in Scotland almost twenty years ago, finally presented their long-awaited second best-of album, which included the brand new single 'All I Want' and other previously unreleased bonus tracks in addition to the numerous chart successes. A total of 20 songs by one of the most influential pop formations of the 80s and 90s can be found on this album, such as 'Love Is All Around' (from the soundtrack to the cult film 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'), 'Goodnight Girl' or the extremely successful cover version of 'With a Little Help From My Friends'. At the same time, this DVD 'Greatest Hits and More' was released, which, in addition to 26 video clips from the band's history, contains exclusive bonus material such as audio commentaries from the band members on their career and albums, a documentary about the band, their reunion in 2004 and the first joint performance in seven years, as well as excerpts from numerous live performances, previously unreleased video clips, a band quiz and a photo gallery. A must for fans and all those who appreciate good pop music.
