In fact, in the mid-90s, the music channel VH-1 succeeds in launching a simple but highly effective broadcasting concept that offers the viewer at home an experience that is not possible in any concert hall. In the series "Storytellers", important stars of the singer/songwriter genre tell the stories behind their famous songs in front of a small crowd of selected spectators and then play them aloud. This is the fascinating opportunity to let the artist speak and sing directly to the viewer, to make the artist come alive face to face at home.
