Mit der von Giorgio Moroder und Pete Bellotte in den Münchener Musicland-Studios produzierten orgiastischen Dauerstöhn-Hymne 'Love To Love Your Baby' gelang der aus Boston stammenden Entertainerin der internationale Durchbruch. Als 'Queen of Disco' etablierte sich die bürgerlich auf den Namen Donna Gaines getaufte strenggläubige Christin mit einem lasziven Repertoire und zählt heute zu den Kultstars jener Ära. Der Konzert-Mittschnitt 'Live & Encore!' präsentierte das Temperamentsbündel mit seinen zahlreichen Hits und Evergreens in Höchstform.

How a witty gag becomes a worldwide success was demonstrated in 1975 by the Afro-American singer Donna Summer. With the orgiastic continuous moaning anthem 'Love To Love Your Baby', produced by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte in Munich's Musicland Studios, the Boston-born entertainer achieved her international breakthrough. As the 'Queen of Disco', the devout Christian, who was baptized by the civil name Donna Gaines, established herself with a lascivious repertoire and is now one of the cult stars of that era. The concert recording 'Live & Encore!' presented the bundle of temperament in top form with its numerous hits and evergreens.
