Cotrona ('G.I. Joe 2 - Die Abrechnung') als Superheld Pedro, Grace Caroline Currey ('Annabelle 2') als Mary Bromfield aka Superheldin Mary, Faithe Herman ('This Is Us - Das ist Leben') als Darla Dudley, Ian Chen ('Bailey 2 - Ein Hund kehrt zurück') als Eugene Choi, Jovan Armand ('Second Chances') als Pedro Pena, Marta Milans ('White Lines') als Rosa Vasquez, Cooper Andrews ('The Walking Dead') als Victor Vasquez und Djimon Hounsou ('A Quiet Place 2') als Zauberer. Neu im Cast sind Rachel Zegler ('West Side Story'), Lucy Liu ('Kung Fu Panda' Filmreihe) und Helen Mirren ('Fast & Furious 9'). Der Film wurde erneut von Regisseur David F. Sandberg (siehe auch 'Shazam!' und 'Annabelle 2') inszeniert und von Peter Safran ('Aquaman', 'The Suicide Squad') produziert. Das Drehbuch stammt von Henry Gayden ('Shazam!', 'Jemand ist in deinem Haus') und Chris Morgan ('Fast & Furious - Hobbs & Shaw', 'Fast & Furious 8') und basiert auf Charakteren von 'DC'. Der Superheld 'Shazam!' wurde von Bill Parker und C.C. Beck geschaffen. Als ausführende Produzenten des Films waren Walter Hamada, Adam Schlagman, Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Victoria Palmeri, Marcus Viscidi und Geoff Johns beteiligt. Zu Sandbergs Kreativteam gehörten Kameramann Gyula Pados ('Jumanji' Filmreihe), Produktionsdesigner Paul Kirby ('The Old Guard', 'Jason Bourne') sowie Editor Michel Aller ('Shazam!', 'The Nun'). Als Music-Supervisor fungierte Season Kent ('DC League of Super-Pets', 'The Addams Family 2'), die Musik stammt von Christophe Beck ('Free Guy', 'Die Eiskönigin 2'). Für die visuellen Effekte zeichneten Bruce Jones ('Aquaman', 'Es') und Raymond Chen ('Alita - Battle Angel', 'Meg') verantwortlich. Die Kostüme designte Louise Mingenbach ('Jumanji - The Next Level', 'Godzilla 2 - King of the Monsters').
